Reject My Car Finance
FCA status & consumer information
Our regulatory status
Reject My Car Finance is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We do not claim to be FCA approved, regulated or endorsed.
Paid assistance investigating or representing claims about financial services or products may require FCA permission, unless a valid exclusion or exemption applies. This website is not confirmation that we have permission to carry out regulated claims management. Any required permission must be established before regulated work is undertaken.
You can complain for free
You do not need to pay us or another claims company to complain. You can contact your dealership and finance provider directly. If your complaint against your finance provider remains unresolved, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service for free, subject to its eligibility rules and time limits.
For most complaints, you can refer the matter after a final response or once eight weeks have passed without one. You normally have six months from the final response to refer it. Check the Ombudsman’s current guidance for your complaint; some types have different arrangements.
Fees and your agreement
£249.95 is charged when takeback has been agreed. If your car is not taken back, there is no fee.
Submitting an enquiry does not authorise us to represent you or commit you to a paid service. Before agreeing to a service, obtain written terms explaining the scope, any inspection, transport or storage costs, applicable taxes, cancellation rights and what happens if an agreed takeback does not complete. These details are not yet confirmed on this website.
Outcomes and finance payments
Rejection is not automatic. It depends on the circumstances, evidence and your legal rights. No takeback, refund, timescale or credit-file outcome is guaranteed.
Keep making your finance payments unless your lender agrees otherwise. Stopping payments can lead to arrears and affect your credit file. Do not drive a vehicle you believe is unsafe.
Faulty cars and commission complaints are different
Our advertised service concerns faulty vehicles and rejection. FCA motor finance commission compensation information concerns a different issue; it does not mean your faulty car qualifies for rejection or compensation.
