Reject My Car Finance
Terms and conditions
These terms cover this website and initial enquiries. A separate written service agreement is required before paid work or representation begins.
Who we are
Consumer Rights Act Limited, company number 17477232, trades as Reject My Car Finance. Registered office: 28 Prescott Street, Halifax, England, HX1 2LG. Trading address: 3 King Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 1SR.

Enquiries and service scope
Our service is for consumers with faulty vehicles on finance, not businesses. Submitting a claim or requesting a callback is an enquiry only: it does not appoint us as your representative, form a paid service contract or commit you to a fee.
Before work begins, we will need to confirm in writing the scope of work, authority to act, applicable regulatory permissions and the service agreement. The website describes inspection arrangements, evidence preparation, claims handling and partner support; availability and suitability depend on your case.
Handling fee and additional costs
We provide takeback handling with your car finance lender and a full vehicle inspection assessment — all for only £249.95. This fee is payable when we take on your case.
We will do our very best to get the vehicle rejected back to the finance company by proving the fault existed before, or at the time of, purchase.
The £249.95 is a takeback handling fee. Specialist partner and legal solutions support are included in the advertised fee. Transportation and storage are not included and are arranged and charged separately; obtain written confirmation of these costs before agreeing. Additional charges may apply if we need to re-arrange an inspection so the vehicle can be assessed on a ramp.
The written agreement must clarify applicable taxes, any separate inspection costs, payment arrangements and what happens if an agreed takeback does not complete. No additional service is authorised simply by submitting this form.
Cancellation and consumer rights
Before you enter a distance or off-premises service contract, we must give you the applicable cancellation information. Where the statutory 14-day cancellation period applies, it begins when the service contract is entered into. Early performance requires the appropriate express request and information about any proportionate charges or loss of cancellation rights on full performance.
Contact us to withdraw an enquiry or request cancellation. These website terms do not remove any statutory rights, including the right to services supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Evidence, outcomes and your finance
Provide accurate information and only documents you have the right to share. Decisions are made by the relevant dealer, lender or complaint body; no takeback, compensation, timescale or credit-file result is guaranteed.
Continue finance payments unless your lender agrees otherwise. Do not drive a vehicle you believe is unsafe. This website provides general information, not individual legal advice.
Regulatory status and free alternatives
You do not have to use a paid service. You can complain directly to your dealership or finance provider at no cost. If your complaint is not resolved, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service, also free of charge. You are welcome to come back to us at any point, and we will review your case in full for the same £249.95 fixed fee.
Complaints, privacy and liability
If you are unhappy with our service, contact us by email, phone or post using the details above and explain the issue and outcome sought. We will review your complaint. Any applicable escalation procedure must be explained in your service agreement.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Applicable consumer law and your right to bring a claim in the courts available to you are not displaced by these terms.
