“The dealer refused my rejection”
The dealership has said no, but if your car is on hire purchase or PCP, the dealer is often not the one who decides.
Why the dealer may not have the final say
With most hire purchase (HP) and personal contract purchase (PCP) agreements, the finance company buys the car from the dealer and supplies it to you. That makes the finance company legally responsible for the quality of the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
So a refusal from the dealership does not usually end the matter. Your complaint can be raised directly with the finance company.
What usually matters
When the fault appeared, how soon after you bought the car, whether a repair has already been tried, and what evidence there is that the fault was present at or before the time of purchase.
